I think the dust abatement works well, but the asphalt grindings just cause people to increase their speed.  We've seen people going 50mph or more on the asphalt part of the entrance road.  Then as soon as they come to the dirt road, they slow down considerably.  Lets preserve the Forest as a special place, rather than a suburban subdivision, and just use the dust abatement.

The Dust is a killer!      If you live on a main road and have to breath it,  you are doomed to get some kind of lung disease,  likely to kill you.        I do not even go to the Forest anymore,  because of the dust.

I for one appriciate the dust abatement efforts and have seen a marked difference!  I hope that we continue these efforts...and many thanks to our MSF leadership!

Thank you all for your comments.Oil, chip seal, no seal that's the question. What is the right answer for MSF? Doing nothing is bad for our enviornment not just MSF. I think better roads make better neighbors and  improve The Forest. our neighborhoods. Bad roads mean slower response times and might cause loss of life and property.

I think the entrance road speed of 15 MPH is dumb because it's an artificial limit that every one ignores. Once in MSF 15MPH just makes sense.  Pave the roads and the control the speed with education and community pressure.

Thanks to all  on the Road Committee for their hard work from the Blokton's  / Glasier Drive Unit One.

The new pictures of the roads being sprayed are GREAT!!!
